August Events in Gatlinburg
Just by glancing at the Gatlinburg attractions, it is easy to see that creativity is in full force in the month of August. The two-month-long Smoky Mountain Tunes & Tales winds up on August the 11th but not without leaving lasting memories made through the stories and music that are innately Smoky Mountain for all visitors.
The rhythm and melody do not stop there, thanks to one music-related Gatlinburg activity – the Smoky Mountains Songwriters Festival. This event pays homage to the Appalachian beginnings of the music the region is now known for. The festival is slated to take place from August the 23rd until the 25th.
The month of August ends with the beginning of even more Gatlinburg events scheduled for the Gatlinburg Fine Arts Festival. This annual festival allows families to get together and enjoy a fine combination of art, music, and food and will be held at the Arrowmont School of Arts & Crafts.
